VETWELVE TOO GOOD AT KEMBLA !
Vetwelve brought up his second win this prep for John Sargent in impressive fashion at Kembla in a Class 1 Handicap over 1300m with Mitch Stapleford giving him a great ride with soft hands He is such a nice horse going forward. There has never been any doubt abut his talent, but he missed half of the first part of his career when he needed to be re-educated. So it's been a bit of a journey to get to this point, and his ownership group have been very patient. WALKING PAINTING IS TOO GOOD AT RANDWICK !
An outstanding performance from Walking Painting today at Randwick (12th July) to win another Saturday race, with a terrific 10/10 ride form young Will Stanley. What a turnaround in form it has been in the last 2 months for our beautiful French import, it's been a huge training performance from Richard and Will Freedman. VETWELVE WINS AT WYONG !
Vetwelve was able to land the first win of his career today at Wyong (24th June) over 1350m for John Sargent. Given a terrific ride by Molly Burke, it was wonderful to see him break through for this much-deserved victory as he has been racing very competitively and finished in the placings a number of times. Big congratulations to all his connections who have been very patient with this 3yo gelding by Grunt out of Catwalk Kitty. GIRLS WEEKEND PROVIDES HER OWNERS WITH A HUGE WEEKEND !
The girls are going to have a big weekend ! Our all female owned filly Girls Weekend scores a dominant win for Mitch Beer and Jean Van Overmeire today (21st June) at Kembla.This is such a special win for this filly who has always shown good ability, she just needed to learn to relax into her races. Our very talented 2yo filly My Shareena scored an impressive win today (7th June) at Newcastle at only her second career start for trainer Bjorn Baker and jockey Olivia Chambers.What a thrill for her ownership group, congratulations to all !She will go for a break now, but you might see her in the Spring Carnival over a trip as a 3 year old ! Put her into your black books, she is one to follow for sure. Today at Newcastle (26th May) saw our talented staying filly Bearings scored a gutsy win at Newcastle for John Sargent and Jeff Penza.She was written into black books everywhere after her eye-catching last start 4th at Randwick. It was an excellent ride from Jeff Penza today and Sarge shows time and time again why he is a genius trainer of staying fillies and mares.Congratulation to her ownership group on today's win !She might be a sneaky chance to get into the Qld Oaks field off the back of this run. WALKING PAINTING LEADS ALL THE WAY TO WIN !
Our French import Walking Painting was sent to the front today in his 1700m race at Scone to see if that could improve his chances at being competitive in the finish, and boy - was that achieved in spectacular fashion !It was a perfect ride from Alysha Collett which sees him register his first Australian win.He has been a frustrating horse for Will and Richard Freedman and all his owners, but he finally had it go to plan today.Congratulations to all his owners who have been incredibly patient.May 17, 2025
