TURNING CIRCLE SCORES AT NEWCASTLE !
Turning Circle just refuses to give in, winning at Newcastle in a gutsy performance.
A brilliant tactical ride from Jean Van Overmeire saw her roll forward when there was no speed, and when the pressure came on in the straight, she dug deeper than ever. The final 300m from her was all heart.
She’s as genuine as they come and doesn’t know how to run a bad race. Her last 7 starts has yielded 1 2 2 5 4 2 1. Courage, grit and determination - she left nothing in the tank. Very reminiscent of her half-sister Threeood who was such a terrific mare for us.
Huge credit and thanks to Nathan Doyle who continues to get the best from this mare. Congratulations to all her owners who are so proud of her.
BRAZIL RETURNS A WINNER !
Brazil is back and he was really impressive.
First-up at Muswellbrook (7/7/26) from a freshen, Brazil was ridden a treat by Jean Van Overmeire who had him perfectly positioned in the box seat. With the tempo only steady, he travelled beautifully throughout and didn't spend a penny.
Turning for home, the field fanned and Brazil was poised to strike. He went through his gears, eyeballed the challengers and he hit the line strongly to score by just over half a length.
The really exciting part ? There's plenty more to come from this boy. Today was 1450m, but he'll be even better once he gets out to his preferred trip of 1600m.
A fantastic training performance by Mitch Beer & George Carpenter, a beautifully judged ride from JVO, and a very proud day for the Tricolours Racing team.
Special mention as well to his dam Pecans, who gave us so many great memories in the Tricolours silks. She was a terrific race-mare and it’s pretty special to see her son carrying on the family tradition.
Huge congratulations to his ownership group - they adore him !

FIRE BOMBER WINS FIRST-UP !
What a return to the track for Fire Bomber, winning at Ipswich first-up (4/6/2026).
After winning on debut at Ipswich last prep, followed by a couple of solid runs before heading for a break, Fire Bomber returned to where it all began and produced another outstanding performance.
A brilliant ride by Kyle Wilson-Taylor saw him take the inside run for him and when the challenge came, Fire Bomber responded like a horse full of confidence. Nobody told him he was a $15 outsider ! Terrific training effort from Toby Edmonds who has been really patient with him as he’s been a late maturer, but has him absolutely firing now.
Follow Fire Bomber - plenty more to come!
AUTUMN BLONDE WINS AT KEMBLA !
A terrific win by our flashy three-year-old chestnut filly Autumn Blonde at Kembla (2/6/2026).
Dylan Gibbons had her away beautifully from the gates and rolling along in front where she controlled the race perfectly. Turning for home the challengers loomed and she found herself in a two horse duel down the straight. She dug deep and found another gear, holding on for a really outstanding win. Sensational effort from her. Huge credit to Mitch Beer and George Carpenter who have really worked her out, she’s had some quirks along the way but is now racing in really good form.
Congratulations to all of her owners. She showed plenty of heart in this win and we have a strong feeling there’ll be more wins to come.
A WIN FOR THE LADIES FROM GIRLS WEEKEND !
What a performance form our very popular race-mare Girls Weekend at Canberra, leading all the way and putting them away in style over the 1280m on the synthetic.
After racing very consistently this prep, we made the decision to step her up from the 1000m and it proved to be the winning move. When the challengers tried to come at her in the straight, she dug deep and found another gear, kicking strongly to draw away and score by nearly three lengths. A perfected executed ride by Adam Farragher and a terrific training performance by Mitch Beer and George Carpenter who had her split on for her first try on the synthetic surface.
Congratulations to all her all-female ownership!
READY TO SCHIPP CRUISES IN WITH A GUTSY WIN !
Our wonderful mare Ready to Schipp resumed at the Gold Coast (16/5/26) and what a return it was. Despite being uncharacteristically slow away, she quickly found her rhythm, travelled beautifully throughout and stalked the speed like the class horse she is.
Turning for home, she let down strongly ad what followed was a thrilling two-horse duel down the straight. Neck and neck the entire way, but our tough girl dug deep and refused to be denied, holding on bravely for victory.
A top ride from Ben Osmond and full credit to Toby Edmonds for having her cherry ripe for her return. She was terrific last prep, and all signs suggest we’re in for another exciting campaign ahead.
Congratulations to all her owners ! Plenty to look forward to with this mare. Follow her !
