Lot 341 from the Gold Coast Magic Millions sale is a beautiful filly by Queensland’s leading stallion Better Than Ready. Better Than Ready has been a prolific producer of winners over the past few year, and his progeny continue to perform on the race track. At the 2023 Magic Millions Race Day, there are 10 individual Better Than Ready’s represented.

 

Better Than Ready is the sire of 34 individual 3yr old winners this season, second only to I Am Invincible. Our filly is out of an Elusive Quality mare in Schipper, who was twice a winner as a 2yr old. Schipper is herself a half sister to Group 1 Oakleigh Plate winner Reactive.

 

This filly will be trained by Trent and Toby Edmonds on the Gold Coast, and is eligible for the most lucrative bonus series in Australia, the QTIS Fillies bonuses. She will also be paid up for the Magic Millions Race series, and could be back for the 2yr old race in 12 months time!
