Nathan Doyle is an up-and-coming trainer based in Newcastle, with a team of 30 horses in work. Nathan has been a great addition to the Tricolours Racing training team, in particular with our horse Rush Attack, who has really thrived since arriving at Nathan's stables.
About Nathan Doyle
Nathan's journey began in his home town of Muswellbrook, before he was offered a position in Sydney working for five years with champion trainers Paul and Peter Snowden and Mark Newnham — soaking up invaluable knowledge from some of the world's greatest racing names. In 2019, Doyle Racing began.
The stable started in Scone, NSW, where early success saw it grow before Nathan made the decision to set up base in Newcastle, where he could expand his capabilities further. Newcastle's central location, on the doorstep of the Hunter Valley, puts all four Sydney metropolitan tracks, four provincial racecourses and numerous country venues within a three-hour radius — with training facilities including two grass tracks, a Polytrack, a sand track and an equine pool.
Doyle Racing secured its first Group 1 success in the 2024-25 season when Private Harry won The Galaxy. That same season, the stable saddled up 51 winners Australia-wide from 306 starters, with horses including Private Harry, Hidden Motive, Harlem Queen and Churchill's Choice competing at the highest level.

How Syndication Works
Buying into a racehorse syndicate with Tricolours is simple — On average, a 2.5% share in a horse costs approximately $125 per month in training costs, plus a management fee of $40/month. When the horse is in full work costs are slightly higher; when spelling they're lower. Over a year they average out. Every horse's costs are clearly stated in its PDS. We handle billing, updates and race-day logistics so you can focus on the experience.
