James Moss
Founder
Tricolours Racing and Syndications was founded by James Moss in November 2016, named in tribute to his late father Jack’s favourite NRL team. James has been involved in racehorse ownership for over 25 years, gaining a deep understanding of what owners truly value.
Since launching, Tricolours has enjoyed notable success with horses like Miss Moana, Fasika, Ballistic Lover, and Gin Martini. James lives in Sydney with his wife, Danielle, and their three children.

Paul King
Partner
Paul’s love for racing began at age 15 during a visit to Royal Randwick with his mother—a passion that’s only grown over the years. With nearly 25 years of business experience and a strong background in racehorse ownership, Paul brings both insight and enthusiasm to the Tricolours team.
A long-time supporter of the stable, he eagerly joined as a partner, confident in its continued success. Paul lives in Sydney with his wife, Shannon, and their three daughters, and proudly supports the Tigers.

Maryanne Sayers
Communications and Administration
Maryanne is a life-long racing fan. She became a Tricolours owner in 2019 and joined the team in early 2020, assisting with owner communications, admin, accounts, and event planning. With a background in high-level marketing and sales, she brings strong corporate experience to the role.
Growing up, her bedroom walls were adorned with not rock stars but racehorses, and her favourite horse is Kingston Town. Maryanne lives on the NSW Central Coast with her family.
