Today at Newcastle (26th May) saw our talented staying filly Bearings scored a gutsy win at Newcastle for John Sargent and Jeff Penza.

She was written into black books everywhere after her eye-catching last start 4th at Randwick.  It was an excellent ride from Jeff Penza today and Sarge shows time and time again why he is a genius trainer of staying fillies and mares.

Congratulation to her ownership group on today's win !

She might be a sneaky chance to get into the Qld Oaks field off the back of this run. Fingers crossed !
