PINOT PIRATE WINS ON DEBUT

Written By Maryanne Sayers

PINOT PIRATE

A stunning race debut from Pinot Pirate at Gatton (16/10/26). Trained by Chris and Corey Munch, he bolted in over the short sprint trip of 860m with Tahlia Fenton giving him a great ride. He’s by Pierata and out of tough Queensland mare Nicci’s Spirit.

He looks to be a very progressive type, and has a real touch of class about him. He’s been beautifully prepared by Chris and Corey Munce who have taken a very patient and measured approach with him. He’ll now be making his way through the grades and we think there is plenty more to come. Add him to your black book !

A huge congratulations to his very excited ownership group - winning on debut is just so very special.
